The “Basic Understanding of First Aid Course” - which was opened with the assistance of Macao Red Cross - mainly touched upon common injuries caused by exercising, the prevention and treatment of accidental injuries, and basic concepts of first aid. Through the combination of theoretical and practical classes, the course allowed the participants to gain basic knowledge of first aid, to learn and practise first aid treatment in emergency situations. A total of 163 staff members participated in this course and they all received qualification certificates after passing the examination.

In recent years, the usage of the sports facilities under the Macao Sport Development Board has continually been rising. To more effectively enhance the staff’s day-to-day operational efficiency and improve their time management skills, the “Time Management Course” was opened with the assistance of Macao Institute of Management. Additionally, the “Reception Skills Course” for the front office staff was opened in phases throughout August, September and October with the assistance of Macao Productivity and Technology Transfer Centre to increase the quality of services provided by the staff-members.
