Over the years, the Youth Academies, which was widely recognized, have been cultivating many excellent young athletes for Macao's sports development. In November and December, the Sports Bureau organized Talent Selection Days in collaboration with six general associations, including the Macao Table Tennis General Association, Macao Football General Association, Macao Karate Alliance, Macao Wushu General Association, Macao Squash General Association and Bowling General Association of Macao, China. The recruitment events were well received and attracted many teenagers to participate. Parents also attended to support their children. All participants made their best effort, endeavoring to be admitted by the academies to receive official sports training.
