Finalized Dates of the 64th Macau Grand Prix:16<sup>th</sup> -19<sup>th</sup> November

The 64th Macau Grand Prix will be held from 16th to 19th of November. The organizing committee held a press conference and the Title Sponsorship Agreement Signing Ceremony in the afternoon of 25th May at the Macao Science Center. The organizing committee announced that it would be the fourth consecutive year that Suncity Group becomes the Title Sponsor of the Macao Grand Prix. The amount of sponsorship is MOP 20 million. SJM Holdings and CTM will continue to sponsor the Macau CT Cup and the Macau Touring Car Cup. Pun Weng Kun, President of the Sports Bureau, pointed out that since the founding of the Macau Grand Prix, it has been very popular among tourists and racing drivers in Macao and around the world. It has been successful depending on the support and cooperation of different government sectors and professional organizations. 

President Pun mentioned that as the use of internet becomes more popular, growing attention has been drawn to the car racing event every year. The viewing audience of the car racing event on television and the internet broke records last year. More than 11.5 million people watched the live streaming of the race on computers and mobile devices. There were also 551 media institutions from 24 countries and regions coming to report on the event. The official website of the Macau Grand Prix received 10.06 million clicks in the four-day racing event. He revealed that since the promotion activities had begun in April, an exhibition was held in the Formula One Chinese Grand Prix in Shanghai. Subsequently, tour promotion activities will also be held in other cities in Mainland China. In Macao, there will also be arrangements for inviting schools to visit the Macau Grand Prix Building, in order to increase the teenagers' interest in the Grand Prix. 

In terms of the racing event, Formula Three will continue to be granted the title of FIA F3 World Cup. Meanwhile, the third FIA GT World Cup will also be held. This marks the recognition of Macao's capability in holding international racing events. Gradually, its status in the international car racing field will also be upgraded.

The tickets for the 64th Macau Grand Prix are already available for reservation. The ticket prices are the same as the prices last year. The price of a ticket for each practice day on the 16th and 17th of November is MOP 50. For each race day on the 17th and 18th of November, the ticket for the stand at the Lisboa Bend is MOP 900. The ticket for the Grand Stand and the Reservoir Stand cost MOP 550 and MOP 350 respectively.
