Friendly Football Match between Sports Bureau and Macao Sports Press Association

    The Sports Bureau had an annual football friendly match with the football team of Macao Sports Press Association in the afternoon on 16 March at the Olympic Sports Centre (Multi-Purpose Zone). After the match, Pun Weng Kun, President of the Sports Bureau, said that he hoped that in this activity, they could build friendships through the football match, strengthen the interaction between the Sports Bureau and sports journalists so as to facilitate mutual cooperation.

    The match got started at 6 p.m. on that day, and was divided into three parts, each of which lasted 15 minutes. President Pun Weng Kunled the team of Sports Bureau, and promoted “Sport For All for Better Health” by personally taking part in the match.   

    Both sides in the match aimed to improve their physical conditions and promote the exchange in between for “Friendship First, Competition Second”. The Macao Sports Press Association gained the advantage at the beginning, while eventually the Sports Bureau fought back by scoring two goals and won the match with a score of 2:1.
