Diversified Fitness and Recreation Classes grew popular among citizens

In order to fully utilize social resources to promote sport for all, the Sports Bureau has been continuously cooperating with the General Union of Neighbourhood Associations of Macau, Macau Federation of Trade Unions and the Women's General Association of Macau to organise a variety of two-month-long Sport for All Fitness and Recreational Classes to encourage citizens to engage in sports. Over the years, the classes have been widely welcomed and supported by citizens. On 11th December, the enrollment of the first session in 2017 has been completed. There are over 10,000 vancancies, open to all people aged above four.

The Sport for All Fitness and Recreation Classes feature a wide range of sports programmes, including aquatic activities and yoga for kids. In order to encourage parents to exercise with their children, parent-child interaction progammes will continue to be offered. In addition, through cooperating with the Macau-China Paralympic Committee & Macau-China Recreation and Sports Association for the Disabled, Macau Special Olympics and Educational Centre for the Hearing Impaired Children of Sports Association of the Deaf, various potential development activities  are provided for people with physical, mental disabilities and hearing impairment.
