Results of First Phase Ticket Distribution from Public Application of Tickets of 2008 Beijing Olympic Games

A Drawing Ceremony for distributing the first phase ticket application from the public was successfully held at the meeting room of Macau Sport Development Board at 6 pm on 3 September 2007. The detailed results of this ticket distribution were already posted in the website of Official Unit of Ticket Sales: www.sport.gov.mo and the three Ticket Ordering Stations. The results of ticket distribution are divided into four categories and applicants are advised to take the follow-up procedures as described in the directions given in this notification.

Category A – Applicants being distributed with tickets of oversubscribed sessions/events through the Draw

When the quantity of tickets being applied for the sessions/events is higher than the amount being allocated to Macau S.A.R. by BOCOG, the oversubscribed session/event tickets will be specially taken out from the allocated quantities and distributed to the applicants through the Draw Ceremony held at 6 pm on 3 September 2007. Applications on the drawn out list from the Ceremony are entitled to acquire the oversubscribed ticket(s).

From 4 September onwards, applicants should bring along the“29th Olympic Games Ticket Purchase Order” to any of the three Ticket Ordering Stations to obtain the “29th Olympic Games Ticket Payment Slip”. With this Payment Slip and before the 4 October 2007, applicants should go to any Sub-branches of Bank of China Limited Macau Branch for payment. After the payment, keep the payment receipt until next year and present it verification while obtaining the tickets. Persons who do not make the payment by the due date will be considered as waiving the tickets they had applied.

Category B Applicants not being Distributed with tickets of oversubscribed sessions/events through the Draw

Applications not on the drawn out list from the Ceremony are not entitled to acquire any oversubscribed ticket.

Those applications will be automatically transferred to the second phase application. However, between 4 September and 14 September, applicants can also bring along the“29th Olympic Games Ticket Purchase Order” to the Ticket Ordering Station at Tap Seac Multisport Pavilion to have the priority in selecting from the tickets of other sessions/events being allocated to Macau but not reserved by any applicants. The successful applicants will be issued with “29th Olympic Games Ticket Payment Slip” immediately, and applicants should go to any Sub-branches of Bank of China Limited Macau Branch for payment before the 4 October 2007. After the payment, keep the payment receipt until next year and present it for verification while obtaining the tickets. Persons who do not make the payment by the due date will be considered as waiving the tickets they had applied.

Category C Applicants with direct ticket distribution from BOCOG on applied sessions/events

When the quantity of tickets being applied for the sessions/events is lower than the amount being allocated to Macau S.A.R. by BOCOG, tickets are distributed to the applicants automatically.
