Application Procedures and Time Schedule Arrangement
First Register → Then Payment Confirmation → Collection of tickets
First Register
Fill in the “29 th Olympic Games Ticket Pre-order Application Form”, bring along the applicant’s address in Portuguese (e.g. address of water bill or electricity bill). When submitting the Form, the applicant has to present the original of the identification document for verification. After Macau Sport Development Board has received all application information, applicants will be issued with the “29th Olympic Games Ticket Purchase Order”.
Then Payment Confirmation
With the tickets allocated by BOCOG, Macau Sport Development Board will announce the result of ticket application confirmation through the website of Macau Sport Development Board, the Ticket Ordering Stations and the local newspapers. The total amount of purchase will be in Macau Patacas (MOP) and the conversion rate of Renminbi to MOP will be that publicised by the " Bank of China Limited Macau Branch” at 9:00 am on the day of announcement of confirmation and the total amount will be printed on “29th Olympic Games Ticket Payment Slip”.
I f there is over subscription of ticket application, there will be Computerised Drawing Program to allocate admission tickets. The details will be advertised in the .website of Macau Sport Development Board, Ticket Ordering Stations and the local newspapers.
From the announced result of ticket application confirmation in the medium mentioned above, applicants should bring the “29th Olympic Games Ticket Purchase Order” to obtain the “29th Olympic Games Ticket Payment Slip” from the Ticket Ordering Stations. With this Slip, go to any Sub-branches of Bank of China Limited Macau Branc h for payment and keep this payment receipt from the Bank of China Limited Macau Branch.
Acquisition of Tickets
After receiving the admission tickets from the BOCOG, Macau Sport Development Board will announce the notification in the Website, Ticket Ordering Station and the local newspapers. To obtain the official tickets of Beijing Olympic Games, applicants should present the Bank of China Limited Macau Branc h payment receipt and their identification document to the original Ticket Ordering Station between June and July of 2008. The specific date for ticket collection will be in accordance with the official announcement of BOCOG.
Eligibility of Applicants
Domicile in Macau with the following documentation:
- Residents of S.A.R. (with Macau Resident Identification Card);
- Holders of valid student visa (with document of Permit for Special Authorization to Stay and a Macau Student Card);
- Holders of valid work visa (with Non-resident Worker Identification Card);
- Holders of valid special provisory card of Macau S.A.R. Government (with Special Resident Provisory Card).
Applicants who do not possess the above eligibility will not be accepted for application.

Announce the confirmed successful applicants’ list being allocated with tickets from BOCOG from the first phase and accept the payment. An overdue in payment will result in cancellation of the ticket order. Those applications not allocated with tickets during the first phase will be automatically transferred to the Computerised Drawing Program of the second phase. |

Announce the confirmed successful applicants’ list being allocated with tickets from BOCOG from the second phase and accept the payment. An overdue in payment will result in cancellation of the ticket order. |

If there are tickets left over after the allocations, the remaining tickets will be for sold to the public. |

When payment has been made, applicants can obtain their tickets from the original Ticket Ordering Station where they make their application. |
- Concerning the ticket allocation, confirmation and date of ticket collection will be in accordance with the announcement of BOCOG.
- If the total number of ticket applications per session exceeds the total tickets that we have for each session, all ticket applications for this session will be processed by the Computerised Drawing Program. The specific time for the Drawing Program will be publicised separately.
