Macao East Asian Games Dome

  • The Macao East Asian Games Dome is the largest sports infrastructure in Macao. In addition to an impressively large and magnificent dome, it features an expansive green outdoor area where over a hundred species of plants grow. It has not only become Macao’s new architectural landmark but a new sightseeing and recreational area for residents and tourists. The Dome - divided into Zone A, Zone B and Zone C - mainly comprises the four separate parts of the Arena, Theatre, Exhibition Centre, and Macao International Convention Centre. They are now used as training bases for various sports programmes. In order to satisfy Macao’s ongoing development needs, the Dome also provides advanced equipment and extraordinary venues for major cultural events, entertainment, recreational activities, and conventions and exhibitions. In enriching the sports life of Macao residents, the Dome also represents a new milestone for the organisation of major cultural, entertainment and recreational activities in Macao.
