Competition Information

The “Suncity Group ICKF World Combat Championship – Macao”, authorised by the International Chinese Kung Fu Fighting Federation (ICKF), will take place at the Tap Seac Multisport Pavilion (Pavilion A) at 7:30 p.m. on 1 August. Established in 2013, the ICKF is committed to promoting Chinese Kung Fu as a combat sport and has organised several competitions in various locations such as Canada, Australia, Italy, Thailand, Philippines, Mainland China, Hong Kong and Macao, amongst which is the “Suncity Group CKF International Combat Challenge – Macao” in the 2017 Wushu Masters Challenge.

The “Suncity Group ICKF World Combat Championship – Macao” will see contestants from many countries and regions including Brazil, United States, South Korea, Philippines, Argentina, Kazakhstan, Mainland China, Hong Kong and Macao engage each other in seven fights in different weight classes to win the ICKF World and Asian golden belts. The event is sure to be action packed and not to be missed!

This competition is held for the first time at Wushu Masters Challenge.  Athletes from cities of the Greater Bay Area such as Macao, Hong Kong, Zhuhai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Jiangmen are joining this event. In addition, an exhibition match between Asian Muaythai champion Tam Si Long from Macao and former Thailand national team member Nantachat Wanpeng will be held at this event.
