China team players conducted exchange session with local teenage players

The FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix Macao 2014, sanctioned by FIVB, organized by Macao Sport Development Board and Volleyball Association of Macao, China and presented by Galaxy Entertainment Group, will be held at the Macao Forum from 15 to 17 August.

Following the arrival of China and Japan, Korea and Serbia also arrived in the evening in preparation for the upcoming tournament.  In addition, a working meeting was held between the organizing committee and FIVB delegates to examine all aspects of the tournament preparations and performed venue inspection.

The China team carried out adaptive training and players including Liu Xiaotong, Yang Zhou, Yang Fangxu and Wang Huimin participated in a friendly match with local teenage volleyball players, sharing experience and offering technical advice. The young players were delighted to receive guidance and encouragement from the Chinese national players and look forward to more opportunities in the future to learn from them.

Moreover, Galaxy Entertainment Group also organized students from the Fu Hong Society to participate in the exchange event, allowing them the opportunity to watch the national women’s volleyball players up close and together share in the joy brought about by the sport.

Tickets for the matches are in hot demand, with those for the final day (17 August) already sold out and a limited number remaining for 15 and 16 August. The remaining tickets (MOP150.00 for each day, free-seating) can be bought from all 13 OK convenient stores in Macao, or online at www.macauwgp.com.
