Despite the fact that they could not proceed to the second round, Iong Cho Ieng, the head coach of the Macao team, was proud of his players’ performance. Meanwhile, he also thought that through competitions, the junior players were provided with training opportunities.

The Macao men's football team competed against the home team Mongolia. With Gois Fernandes Carlos Leonel's shot at the 47th minute, the team scored 1:2 to their opponent. However, they still lost 1:4 to Mongolia despite their effort. In the second match, the Macao football team competed with Guam. Leong Ka Hang challenged the goalkeeper alone and shot, scoring for the first time. At the 32nd minute, Northern Mariana Islands tied with Macao at 1:1.
