Jointly organized by the Public Administration and Civil Service Bureau and the Sports Bureau, the event “2017 Public Entities Sports Festival” was hosted from May to July. Competition events included 7-a-side men's football, basketball, table tennis, badminton, squash, bowling, tennis and swimming, track and field, and Macao Public Entities Small Dragon Boat Race.This year's new event included long-distance race, alongside other recreational competitions and activities. This year, there were over 2,500 participant-times from 63 public entities in the Public Entities Sports Festival. Ball games of various types were held consecutively from May to June. Throughout all the competitions held in a period of over a month, winners were decided one after another. The awarding ceremony of the events was held after the finals.
On 9 July, Recreational Competition Day was held in the Tap Seac Multisport Pavilion. Staff members of different public entities were sent to participate in three recreational competition activities, including football, basketball and other recreational competition events. Various participating teams tried their best and performed their very best. In the end, the Vitality Award was awarded to the Judiciary Police.
