The “Dream Team” Won Applause in Leaping Stars and Dream

“Olympic Gold Medalists' Visit to Macao Activities Series - Leaping Stars and Dream” took place on 26th and 27th September. The diving “Dream Team” of China visited schools and community for interaction, and gave two sessions of public performance at the Olympic Sports Centre - Aquatic Centre. The event attracted lots of residents to attend.
On the first day of the medalists' visit to Macao activities series, the diving team, in two separate divisions, visited Tong Nam School, Sheng Kung Hui Choi Kou School (Macau), Luso-Chinese School of Taipa, and Fong Chong School of Taipa to interact closely with the teachers and students there. They sent positive messages to the youths in the sharing session, encouraging them to keep brave and persistent attitudes when facing adversities and challenges, and to make efforts to achieve their dreams and goals. On the next day, the diving team visited the Lakeside Childcare Centre of Taipa, Seac Pai Van Lok I Daycare Center for Senior Citizens under the Macao General Women's Association, Centro de Convívio Vivacidade of the General Association of Workers of Macao in Toi San Edifício Dª. Julieta Nobre de Carvalho, and Dr. Henry YT Fok Specialist Medical Centre, Kiang Wu Hospital. They showed care for senior citizens and children, played games with them, and gave them small presents. The atmosphere was warm.
The “Dream Team”, comprised of Shi Tingmao, Chang Yani, Zhang Jiaqi, Zhang Minjie, Cao Yuan, Xie Sichang, He Chao, Qiu Bo, Wang Han, Ren Qian, Si Yajie, Chen Aisen, Yang Hao, Yang Jian and Lian Junjie, gave wonderful performances with Macao diving athletes and synchronized swimming athletes for the audience, in the two-day event “Olympic Gold Medalists' Visit to Macao Activities Series - Leaping Stars and Dream” at the Olympic Sports Centre - Aquatic Centre. Not only did the “Dream Team” demonstrate the movements as seen in competitions for the audience, but they also designed a series of synchronized swimming movements. They interacted, exchanged and competed with Macao diving athletes. Apart from the highly difficult movements and entertaining synchronized swimming, the gold medalists also showed their humorous side, and thus they received enthusiastic applause from the audience. The whole stadium was filled with laughter.
