Macau Grand Prix Upgraded to FIA F3 World Cup Grand Prix Upgraded to FIA F3 World Cup

The Suncity Group 63rd Macau Grand Prix (MGP) will be held between 17th and 20th November. This year, the event is organized by the Sports Bureau, and the Sun City Group is the title sponsor for the third consecutive year. The Macau Grand Prix Organizing Committee has held a signing ceremony of the title sponsor and press conference, announcing highlights such as current Formula 3 Macau Grand Prix being approved to be upgraded to FIA (International Automobile Federation) Formula 3 World Cup and the Macau Motorcycle Grand Prix celebrating its Golden Jubilee, attracting residents and tourists in Macao to look forward to this grand motorsport event.

Since its inception, the Macau Grand Prix has been well received by drivers, riders and tourists from all over the world. The success of MGP is backed by the support and cooperation of various government departments and professional organizations. The Organizing Committee will be the main organizer of the event for the first time and coordinate various departments, units and individuals to carry out preliminary work, expecting to allow the audience to experience an event combined with sports, tourism and cultural elements.

Seven High Profile Races

The race program for this year includes a total of seven thrilling races: FIA F3 World Cup, Macau GT Cup - FIA GT World Cup, Suncity Group Macau Guia Race 2.0T, Suncity Group Macau Motorcycle Grand Prix, Suncity Group Macau Road Sport Challenge, CTM Macau Touring Car Cup and Suncity Group Chinese Racing Cup. Top talents from previous years of Grand Prix and other leading names from the motorsport circles in Asia and Europe have been invited to the event, where they will fight the high-caliber races out at the Guia Circuit.

Macau Motorcycle Grand Prix celebrating its Golden Jubilee

The Macau Motorcycle Grand Prix has reached the milestone of its 50th  anniversary. In addition to the trophies, the top three drivers will get a Golden Jubilee Cup. Moreover, the Macao Post will issue a package of commemorative stamp of the 50th Macau Motorcycle Grand Prix on 18th November. Each package consists of five stamps on which are the portraits of the most iconic drivers in the history of the event. At the same time, the local cultural and creative companies will design and produce a series of souvenirs for the race which will be sold at the booths in different seating areas during the Grand Prix.
