The 9th Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao International Sporting Goods Fair and the 13th Guangdong International Sporting Goods Fair

Jointly organized by the Sports Bureau of Guangdong Province, the Hong Kong SAR Home Affairs Bureau, the Macao Sport Development Board, the Guangdong Provincial Sports Industrial Association, and Continental Holdings Limited, the “9th Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao International Sporting Goods Fair and the 13th Guangdong International Sporting Goods Fair” was held at the Pazhou Complex in Guangzhou from September 22nd to 24th.

Under the theme of “Scientific training, healthy lifestyle, Construction of a happy “Guangdong through Sport”, this year’s Fair occupied an exhibit ion area of 3,000 square meters and featured almost 1,000 booths exhibiting items such as sports facilities and equipment, fitness equipment, outdoor leisure products and professional sportswear. The organizers also held several activities in keeping with the industry trends and interests of the exhibitors such as forums, trade and commerce negotiations, and sport performances.

The Macao Sport Development Board also set up a booth at the Fair  to promote the sports industry in Macao through an exhibition of the major international sport events and Sport For All activities held in Macao, as well as by providing information on Macao’s sports venues and a general introduction of Macao. The booth attracted  many visitors to stop by to collect the   promotional flyers  and to enquire more information on Macao. A multimedia area and a basketball shooting game were also set up to promote sports in an interactive manner; both of which were popular with the visitors.

The Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao International Sporting Goods Fair has not only has become a bridge for more and more domestic and overseas companies to expand their local and overseas markets, it also serves as a service platform for local sporting goods manufacturers and agents to purchase their goods and seek cooperation in a centralized manner.
