2016 Macao International Kart Grand Prix

The 2016 Macao International Kart Grand Prix, organized by Automobile General Association of Macao-China(AAMC)and co-organized by Sports Bureau(SB)and Macau Government Tourism Office(MGTO), will be held from 8 to 11 December at the Coloane Karting Track.  The Organizing Committee hosted a press conference today(29 Nov) to provide details of the event.

Around 150 karters from Australia, China, Chinese Taipei, France, Germany, Italy, Indonesia, Malaysia, Monaco, New Zealand, Philippines, Portugal, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Spain, Thailand, U.S.A., Hong Kong and Macau will contest in 7 races involving a total of 11 groups, including the Asian Karting Open Championship(AKOC):Formula 125 Open Senior, Junior and Veteran Class; Rotax Max Junior and Senior; Mini Rok; Formula Cadet; AAMC Cup(X30 Junior and Senior), KZ Macau Cup; as well as the CIK-FIA Asia Pacific KZ Championship.  Free admission will be granted to spectators looking to experience the excitement of this 4-day event.

Guests present at today’s press conference including the Vice President of AAMC Herculano Ribeiro, Vice President of SB Lau Cho Un, Acting Head of Tourism Product and Events Department of MGTO Jennifer Si Tou, Secretary General of AKOC Rosela Feria and Race Director of 2016 Macao International Kart Grand Prix Mário Sin.
