2015 Macao International Kart Grand Prix will be held from 10 to 13 December

The 2015 Macao International Kart Grand Prix, organized by Automobile General Association of Macao-China (AAMC) and co-organized by Macao Sport Development Board (MSDB) and Macau Government Tourist Office (MGTO), will be held from 10 to 13 December at the Coloane Karting Track.  The Organizing Committee hosted a press conference today (1 Dec) to provide details of the event.

Around 140 karters from Australia, Italy, the Netherlands, France, U.S.A., Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, China, Hong Kong and Macau will contest in 7 races involving a total of 11 groups, including the Asian Karting Open Championship (AKOC) Formula 125 Open Senior, Junior and Veteran Class; Rotax Max Junior and Senior; Mini Rok; Rok Senior; Formula Cadet; AAMC Cup (X30 Senior and Veteran), KZ Macau Cup; as well as the CIK-FIA Asia Pacific KZ Championship.  Free admission will be granted to spectators looking to experience the excitement of this 4-day event.

Guests present at yesterday’s press conference including the Chairman of AAMC Lo Keng Chio, President of AAMC Chong Coc Veng, Director of MGTO Helena Fernandes, President of MSDB José Tavares, Managing Director of AKOC Johnny Tan and Race Director of 2015 Macao International Kart Grand Prix Mário Sin.
